Our reputation

Azure has a strong reputation for ensuring staff are fully aware of Safeguarding and this training is provided throughout all staffing levels from support staff through to senior management. 

Individual training

Azure is fully committed to the training and development of staff. 

Our training department provides in house training to all support services staff.  We are accredited through City and Guilds to provide the induction award, Learning Disability Qualification (LDQ) and NVQ Health and Social Care (HSC) level 2 and 3 awards. 

This provides staff with a thorough grounding and understanding of meeting the needs of learning disabled people.

Ongoing personal development

There is an ongoing commitment to the continuous personal development of all staff and management. The training department delivers various in house training programmes to meet these needs. We use an effective Structured Training system, that enables support workers to teach people with learning disabilities how to do everyday and complex tasks. This in turn helps to promote the individual's independence. 

Staff are mentored through their early stages of working within the company and on going supervision, appraisal and support is provided to all staff.
