Newcastle Supported Housing

Location

The Newcastle service provides the excitement of city living while incorporating excellent transport systems for day trips. A vibrant and culturally diverse environment with easy access to the rural surrounding areas.

Housing Support

This service is made up of a number of individual houses situated across the city; rented from a variety of housing associations. Residents each hold their own tenancy agreement in either shared or single accomodation; with private bedrooms and access to communal areas in the latter.

Local Activities

Newcastle offers a great deal in terms of: theatres; cinemas; cultural centres; museums; sport and leisure facilities. There is also an outstanding further education infrastructure.

The Staff

Newcastle staff provide a tailored support service developed to ensure that all individual needs are met. This covers all ground from helping to find accommodation and writing a plan to support with everyday tasks such as: shopping; household tasks; or organising nights out and holidays.

Diploma in Management Studies
NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care
IOSH certificate and is a Registered Manager

EXPERIENCE

11 years experience in working with adults with Learning Disabilities.

Former business owner. This has given her invaluable transferable skills which have been utilised within her work at Azure.
